I am reluctantly giving Wild Life five stars because it was too short. I really wanted more of the outrageous adventures of Lisa Alpine. I often say that I am grateful to have survived my youth, in Lisa's case I think it a miracle that he came through unscathed. I truly admire her moxey and free-wheeling adventuresome spirit that has taken her around the globe and into the arms of more than one handsome stranger. I did feel anxious when she carried forward her adventures with her new born son, still suckling her breast, and then taking him on safari in a remote region when he was at the tender age of four. All is well that ends well and Lisa has delivered a well-written, thoughtful collection of travel memoirs and her son did survive to become a adventure addict as well.
